Troy Fautanu becomes the third member of Washington’s offense CFP Playoff team to be taken in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The former Husky left tackle was taken by the Pittsburg Steelers with the 20th overall pick.
Fautanu anchored the left side of the best offensive line in the country. He played nearly 1,000 snaps at left tackle last season, but the Steelers will likely move him where he best fits which could be moving him inside.
There may have been a bit of destiny at work for Fautanu, proclaiming himself a Steelers fan in a tweet from 2016 and 2017.
