Pac-12 Roundup: Week 13 picks

It’s the final week of Pac-12 regular season play. Utah has has already clinched the South Division and will play in next Friday’s Pac-12 Championship. Tonight’s Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State will decide who represents the North Division in the conference championship game.

Here are my week 13 picks….

Friday

Oregon (7-4) at Oregon State (2-9) 1 p.m. (FS1) Line: Oregon -17.5

The 122nd edition of the Civil War will take place in Corvallis this year. Oregon will look to prove they can win more than one game on the road this year. A win for Oregon State would make their season in a rebuilding year. Oregon wins but the Beavers will hang around.

Oregon 38 Oregon State 24

Saturday

Stanford (6-4) at UCLA (3-8) 12 p.m. (Pac-12) Line: Stanford -6.5

The Cardinal got a bye after their game against California was postponed due to the wildfires in California. The week off gives more time for Bryce Love to get healthy. UCLA is coming off a 34-27 win over their rival Trojans. Stanford in a close one in the Rose Bowl.

Stanford 28 UCLA 21

Arizona State (6-5) at Arizona (5-6) 12:30 p.m. (FS1) Line: Arizona State -1.5

Arizona State suffered a tough loss at Oregon last week that cost them a chance at a Pac-12 title. The Sun Devils have lost five games by a combined 30 points. Arizona needs a win to become bowl eligible. Herm Edwards will get his first Territorial Cup victory.

Arizona State 35 Arizona 27

Colorado (5-6) at California (6-4) 4 p.m. (Pac-12) Line: California -12.5

The Golden Bears have to be one of the better 6-4 team’s in the country. They will be well rested after last week’s game against Stanford was postponed due to the California wildfires. It’s been a disappointing season for Colorado after starting 5-0. Six straight losses and head coach Mike Maclntyre have been fired since. All California this Saturday.

California 30 Colorado 10

#3 Notre Dame (11-0) at USC (5-6) 5 p.m. (ABC) Line: Notre Dame -11

The Fighting Irish are a win against USC this Saturday from all but sealing a spot in the College Football Playoff. For USC, they are fighting to become bowl eligible. USC keeps it close early but Notre Dame is playing at a different level right now.

Notre Dame 38 USC 17

BYU (6-5) at #17 Utah (8-3) 7 p.m. (FS1) Line: Utah -11.5

The Utes have already wrapped up a spot in the Pac-12 Championship despite season ending injuries to starting QB Tyler Huntley and starting running back Zack Moss. BYU has won two straight after having a rough middle of the season. It’s the Holy War and anything can happen in rivalry games but it’s hard to go against the Utes at home.

Utah 27 BYU 14
