Pac-12 After Dark returns to Seattle Saturday, September 23, for the Washington Huskies contest against the California Golden Bears.
The game will mark the final contest between the long time conference foes. It will mark the 101st game between the two schools.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 P.M. on ESPN.
No doubt that that start time will conjure memories of two recent nighttime games between California and Washington. The 2019 “Purple Reign-delayed” game where which started Saturday night and ended Sunday morning. In that game the Golden Bears kicked a field goal with 8 seconds remaining to defeat the Number 14 Huskies, 20-19.
Or perhaps, two years later when then-Washington Husky linebacker and current Golden Bears linebacker Jackson Sirmon caused a goal line fumble to secure an overtime victory for Washington.
Last season the Huskies won 28-21.
