The early part of May is looking like a busy week on Montlake as 3-star tight end/defensive end Kellan Ford announced today that he will be on campus the first weekend in May.  The Huskies were the Monte Vista, California tight end’s 4th offer back in the Spring of 2023.  However, he was offered as a tight end by Washington back on January 24th shortly after the new staff moved into Seattle.

Listed as the 24th-best tight end in the nation by 247, checks in at 6-6, 230 pounds.  Save for a Boston College offer, his offers are mainly from west of the Rocky Mountains, including Power 5 offers from Arizona, California, Oregon State, and Washington State.

In 9 games for Monte Vista, Ford caught 25 passes for 294 yards and 4 touchdowns.   MVHS went 4-6 last season, losing 6 of its last 7 games.

Ford also has visits set up to Cal and to Arizona in June.
