It wasn’t the first time Fresno, CA. 4-star wideout, Jalen McMillan had been to Seattle during a game weekend, but this time it was different because he was on campus as a committed prospect.
It was just about a year ago that McMillan came to Seattle to check out the Huskies for game day, and then he made a return trip in the late spring before finally giving his verbal commitment to Chris Petersen.
With the passage of time now, is he still solid to Washington?
“I’m 100% committed”, McMillan told Realdawg.com as he was waiting for depart SeaTac to head back to California, “The trip went great.”
McMillan was hosted by Taj Davis, and again, it’s just a different experience when a kid is visiting after he has been committed, “Seattle is amazing”, he said, and added that the highlight of the trip was “The game and the fans…and it’s amazing.”
So far this season, McMillan has been tearing it up for San Juaquin Memorial High School; the Panthers are 4-1 and he has close to 600 total yards receiving and four touchdowns.
Without a doubt, Jalen McMillan is one of the best receivers in the country — period.
He has it all; length, speed, hips, hands…don’t kid yourself. He’s elite and this is a huge pickup for Washington.
McMillan plans to sign in December.
