The Washington Huskies women’s basketball team hit the road for two games in the state directly south.
The Huskies hung with Oregon all game in Eugene falling to the Ducks 58-65 behind Haley Van Dyke’s 14 point performance.
The Dawgs then broke their 4-game losing streak with a win in Corvallis over the Oregon State Beavers 79-67. Washington was in control for most of the game Sunday afternoon as they built a lead that was put to the test in the fourth quarter. The Beavers rallied back late, but the Huskies were able to hold on.
As Washington returns to the friendly confines of Hec Ed they will host the LA schools. The Bruins boast an AP rank of #9 play on the 20th followed by a matchup with USC who knocked off #2 Stanford the week before.
