The Washington Huskies Women’s team ended the weekend 0-2 after falling in overtime to the USC Trojans. While close losses aren’t something that is celebrated much on Montlake, the Dawgs had chances to beat two quality teams.
On Friday the Huskies took a halftime lead into the locker room against the #9 UCLA Bruins on Friday night before shooting woes plagued the second half. The Bruins beat Washington by four with a score of 47-51.
USC was riding high after defeating the #2 Stanford Cardinal the week before. SC took care of WSU and was able to hold off Washington in the overtime period outscoring the Huskies 9-0.
UW Leah and Evie Mason break down the weekend and look ahead to a trip to the Arizona schools.
