The Washington women’s basketball team is well underway in its second season under head coach Tina Langley. Despite a tough few back-to-back home losses to conference opponents Colorado and Utah, the Huskies are currently 9-4 for the season, a significant improvement from last year.

As the squad becomes increasingly confident in its abilities, and continues to build a solid foundation with its newer and veteran members, UW continues to show that, win or lose, it possesses the right tools to compete with the best teams out there, and is on the right track to become one of those teams in the future.

Pick and Roll with UW Leah, Evie Mason, and Trevor return for the first time this year to discuss this first part of the 2022-23 season, delving into the ways in which the Dawgs have impressed so far, and also where there’s still room for improvement in order to make the most of the year.
