LISTEN: 4th and Inches Podcast Recaps the Destruction of Boise State

In their 56-19 victory over Boise State, it only took two drives for the Washington Huskies offense to find their rhythm.

After an unsuccessful bid to establish the run, Ryan Grubb, Michael Penix Jr. and the offense dismantled the Bronco defense with intermediate throws and massive yards after the catch.

The Huskies took the lead in the second quarter at 14-9 and never looked back. After the next score Boise State was never able to come within two scores.

A 37-point win against the preseason Mountain West favorite is impressive, but the Huskies also have some things they can fine tune.  Once fixed during this week of practice, it should allow them to come out crisp against Tulsa for a tune-up before their Big-10 matchup with Michigan State.

Trevor Mueller, Jake Grant, and UW Leah break down all facets of the win. They discuss the momentum, key plays, and dive into how each position group did in week 1.
