The Washington Huskies will have their first road test of the Kalen DeBoer era on Friday night in the Rose Bowl, starting the season 4-0. UCLA’s administration is so worried about attendance for the Friday night game that they are giving tickets to those who want to join.
It looks as if the Huskies are in for a soft landing for their first road test of the year when it comes to the crowd, but the foe will be dangerous.
Chip Kelly and the Bruins come into the matchup with an identical 4-0 record. While Washington beat up on lesser opponents including Michigan State who followed the UW loss with an embarrassing loss to Minnesota, UCLA took care of business outside of a nail biter against South Alabama.
The consensus from around the country is that Washington could be a factor in the conference, but there is very little known about the Bruins despite their unblemished record.
