The Washington Huskies will leave the friendly confines of Husky Stadium to travel to East Lansing, Michigan for a dress rehearsal for the BIG10.
Winners of 9-staight, Washington is headed to Michigan State in a matchup where the eyes of the nation are squarely fixed, but not because of the matchup.
Normally, the focus would be on former Spartan, Germie Bernard’s return to East Lansing, and other subplots to the game.
However, MSU head coach Mel Tucker has been suspended without pay while the school and Title IX look into sexual harassment allegations against it’s head coach.
Tucker has been accused of unwanted and inappropriate gifts and phone calls directed at a prominent sexual harassment advocate.
In preparation for this game the Michigan State program has been turned upside down and is forced to host a top-10 opponent with less than a full week to adjust to a new normal without the head of their program.
