Kalen DeBoer has already made history this season for the Washington Huskies, leading them to an undefeated regular season and acquiring multiple individual accolades in the process.
The job is far from finished for DeBoer.
With the Huskies on the verge of a College Football Playoff Semifinal matchup against Texas in the Sugar Bowl, Coach DeBoer has been named a Bear Bryant Coach of the Year award finalist.
This award would be another tremendous milestone for Coach DeBoer, who has established himself as one of the premier power five head coaches in just two years.
DeBoer would be the first Washington head coach to win the award since Don James previously won after his historic 1991 season. The winner will be announced on January 10, 2024.
Finalists for Bear Bryant Coach of the Year, “for contributions that make sport better for athletes & fans alike by demonstrating grit, integrity & a winning approach to coaching & life”
