It’s a very cool day at Husky Stadium right now. The wind is blowing and hoodies are up on a few hundred spectators.
It’s also cool to see Coach Paopao back on Washington sideline. I always felt like he would wind up back here. He’s working with her five tight ends on blocking.
One thing that is certainly noticeable is Decker DeGraff’s quick first step.
Quentin Moore is very well put together. He should be a tremendous force.
Ryan Otton looks full go.
Jonah Coleman is going to cause a lot of people problems out of the backfield, as a receiver.
quarterback reps are split evenly at this point. Saving the arms for later in spring.
Lineman were the first ones out. Some of the stretching drills that they are doing are new.
Denzel Boston with a house call on a broken play. Very wobbly pass from Rogers.
Keith Reynolds picked up a very wobbly pass and had a big gain.
in wide receiver drills, it is so nice to see Washington receivers, focusing on being physical. They are working on getting past tight coverage at the line of scrimmage. Not like some of those joker videos you see on Twitter where they’re trying to do 18 steps before they break off of the line of scrimmage. Physicality will always beat 15 unnecessary steps.
One of the coolest sites of the day is Bill Belichick in sweats and a Washington hat surveying everything.
Leroy Bryant came flying across the field to make a TFL.
Three plays two flags
Davis freaked out everybody, and if they’re in a cameramen he would have been faked out too.
Zach Durfee looks really good— borderline unblockable.
Demond Williams can scoot, but he delivered a dart to Denzel Boston for 25 yards. Did he turned into a TD.
Thaddeus Dixon it sticky.
Voi Tunuufi is up to his old tricks. He has been in the backfield quicker than the ball.
somebody missed very badly on the scouting of new running back, Mohammed. He is legit and an early contributor.
Jason Robinson was welcome to college football by Tristan Dunn who had Washington’s big hit last year.
Rashid “odunze” Williams! That is all I have to say all that one! Twice in a two minute drill made amazing catches.
Decker DeGraff looks great with the ball in his hands. Able to flip his hips down field very quickly.
The two minute drill is absolutely no joke. After all that they did, they pushed the defense down the field. Zach Durfee, who is played lights out, was out of breath on the sideline.
