Instant Reaction: Washington Adds Super Bowl Champion’s Son to Receiver Room

It’s really hard to fly under the radar, playing at Oaks, Christian in Los Angeles, California, but new Washington commit Justice Williams seems to have done just that..

RealDawg.com’s Jefferson Freeman had this say about Williams:

3-star wide receiver Justice Williams has announced that he plans to play for the University of Washington. At 6-4 ,195 Williams is a big receiver with the ability to go up and get the ball.

In other words, Williams is a “taker”, as receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard likes to call his group.

For those who look at star ratings, while he’s listed as a 3-star receiver, but I don’t expect that to last long.

He’s the son of 8-year tight and Super Bowl Champion Roland Williams.

Any time a team can get a player who has Super Bowl bloodlines I’m all for it.  He will usually have a better of the importance of work ethic and team first needed to be a champion.

While his dad is an accomplished football player, the younger Williams has also inherited the measurables that will make him a threat in all aspects of the game.

Last season he caught 54 passes for 910 yards and 10 touchdowns.  That’s over 16 yards per reception in one of California’s toughest conferences.

Earlier today 4-star receiver Jason Robinson also committed to Washington.

For the 2024 class, the Huskies now have 3 total commits.

RealDawg.com reached out to Williams for comment.
