Impact Statement: New 3-Star Receiver Commit Justice Williams has Super Bloodlines

Another California kid is moving north. This time it’s 3-star receiver, Justice Williams who committed to the Washington Huskies yesterday.

The son of Super Bowl champion Roland Williams, Justice was the leading receiver at Oaks Christian School. In 11 games he had 910 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

Williams is a fusion of size, speed, vision, and ability. Standing at 6-4 and weighing in at 195 pounds while also winning a state championship in the 4×400 relay.

Somehow, he’s lived in anonymity In Los Angeles and is unrated by several national recruiting sites.  How does that happen to Oaks Christian’s leading receiver from a year ago?

No less, Williams is another great pickup for JaMarcus Shepard.

Washington will likely be replacing at least two NFL-level talents in Rome Odunze and Jalen McMillan.  Given Williams’ heights and catch radius, he will be in a great spot to come in and immediately contend for playing time.

Physically he has a D1-ready body.  He’s big, and as a jump ball receiver, he will pose a serious threat in the red zone.

His straight-line speed may be slightly overlooked but when he gets a head of steam there are not a lot of people that can keep up. Those two physical traits matched with his great ability to locate the football should find Williams snaps for UW as soon as he is ready.

Be prepared to hear his name in the near future of Husky football.
