Impact Statement: Huskies Flip Bishop Gorman Receiver From Arizona

Impact Statement: Huskies Flip Bishop Gorman Receiver From Arizona

From the high school alma mater of Rome Odunze the Huskies are adding another top end receiver. Audric Harris is the third ranked player in the Nevada class of 2024 and will be a Washington Husky come next year.

Harrisa’ commitment bodes well for the future in the Silver State.

Harris was originally an Arizona commit but with the opportunity to follow coach Jedd Fisch to Washington he jumped. The Huskies have a quite successful history of players out of Las Vegas, and Harris has all the talent to add to that list.

In fact, Washington will be represented at the 2024 NFL Combine by 3 Sin City products:

—Linebacker Edefuan Ulofoshio
—Receiver Rome Odunze
—Offensive lineman Troy Fautanu

Strengthening Washington’s relationship with schools in the Las Vegas area, where there is no Power 5 university is a very good thing.

Harris wasn’t originally offered by the Huskies but Kevin Cummings was responsible for getting him to Tucson, and played a big part in flipping him to Seattle.

Harris could be asked to play a big role for the Huskies who are losing almost all of their receiving production from last season, but will have a sea of new talent looking to make a name.

Stay tuned as RealDawg stays up to date with Harris and all Husky recruiting.
