Impact Statement: 4-Star Receiving Target Cancels Washington Visit, Commits to Stanford

A clearer picture is emerging of Washington’s big recruiting weekend as just a couple of days away from Emmett Mosley’s expected trip to Washington the 6-0, 175-pound receiver has committed to Stanford.  He’s been on Washington’s radar for a long time, receiving an offer from the Huskies on May 18 last year.  In

However, earlier this month he took an official visit to Palo Alto, California to check out Stanford’s campus and came away impressed.  Over the better part of a week and a half he seemed to be cooling on Washington.

Mosley’s change of heart may have something to do with last weekend’s visit to Seattle by 4-star receiver Kwazi Gilmer who is nearing a decision.  Both receivers are over 6-1 and are in the line of the bigger, more physical receiver the Huskies have moved to recently.  Additionally, arriving in Seattle for an official visit tomorrow is 4-star receiver Jason Robinson who is a shade under 5-11.

In addition to Gilmer, the Huskies will have 3 receivers visiting this weekend:

4-star athlete Peyton Waters 6-2, 170 pounds

4-star receiver Jason Robinson 5-10.5, 165

3-star receiver Justice Williams 6-4, 195

Walters may be being recruited as a DB or as a receiver.  With 3-star receiver, Landon Bell’s decommitment a week ago, Jason Robinson has been added to the list of visitors.  Late-rising Williams’ is unrated by 3 services, the exception being 247 Sports who has him as a 3-star pass catcher.

RealDawg.com will have all of the updates as we head into the biggest recruiting weekend of the 2024 recruiting cycle.
