Husky LB Ariel Ngata Enters Transfer Portal

Realdawg.com confirmed with a source close to the program that Husky soon-to-be junior, Ariel Ngata has entered the transfer portal.

Ngata, who came to Washington from Reno, Nevada, played in every game this past season and 12 of 14 games in 2018.

He had been moved around at the linebacker spot, and was beginning to come on stronger for the Huskies in 2019, so it’s hard to know what his actual reasoning is for the decision to transfer, but another source said that he may have an opportunity to walk-on to Clemson.

The Huskies haven’t lost too many players (as of right now) to the portal; Ngata joined Jake Haener, Colson Yankoff, and Trey Lowe. All three left prior to the 2019 season.

Realdawg.com expects there to be a possibly a couple more names added to the list before fall camp (or following spring football).
