Mike Hopkins and staff continue to go after some of the best prospects in the nation. After putting together a top-10 recruiting class for 2019, Hopkins is now looking further into the future. His latest offer is to the No. 1 player in the class of 2021.

Jonathan Kuminga, a 6-foot-8, 210 pound small forward already has offers from most of the top schools in the country. Duke, Kentucky, Auburn, St. John’s, West Virginia, LSU, Auburn, Marquette, and many more have already offered Kuminga.
Kuminga attends Our Savior New American School in Centereach, New York. Coach Mike Hopkins’ ties going back to his Syracuse days in New York have been well documented. In his first recruiting class at Washington, Hopkins brought in Nahziah Carter and Hameir Wright – both from New York.
Watching Kuminga’s highlights, he looks every part of the No. 1 ranked player in the class of 2021. To think he still has two years left of high school is crazy.
