As we’ve been reporting, the Huskies have been very selective in who they are offering in 2020 on the d-line, and today they finally extended the first two DL offers of 2020 to one prospect from Texas, and another from California.
He told us two days ago he was “hoping” the Huskies would offer, and that hope paid off for Princely Umanmielen of Manor, Texas.
He told us last week he had planned to speak with Coach Petersen this week and it sounded as if an offer may be forthcoming, and it came today.

We also spoke to Modesto, CA. 6-7, 260 DE, Xavier Carlton and he told us he was talking today to Coach Petersen, so we posted an article about him this morning and he also tweeted out that he had received an offer.
Beyond Blessed and so very grateful to have received an offer to the University of Washington. Thank you for this great opportunity!!! @CoachPeteUW @MalloeMalloe @UW_Football @RuthJRobbins @BrandonHuffman @MCHSFootball @jburns1980 #PurpleReign #MCSTRONG #4MAC pic.twitter.com/dO5HvNofEm

Both of these prospects have told us that they are going to work on getting up to Washington for visits (either official or unofficial) and both had said that a Husky offer would be “huge” for them.
