We’ve been talking about Xavier Worthy for several weeks now; he’s fast, he’s athletic, and he has all the intangibles to be a deep threat star at the next level.
Today, he was offered by the Huskies.
“Coach Adams Face-time’d my mom and me”, Worthy told Realdawg.com, noting that his mother was very pleased with this offer.
Worthy had dropped a top six a week or so ago, but had also told Realdawg that he was still open to Washington if they make the offer, so this offer should solidify that Huskies’ spot on his list of top schools now.
“I just want to get up there”, he said.
Worthy is fast (10.55 100 time), and last season he recorded 1108 yards and 17 touchdowns for Central in deep threat fashion, but he’s also ridiculously elusive in getting off blocks, zig-zagging across the middle, and into the open field.
Washington loves his speed, and he’s a guy who could come in and make a similar impact to John Ross — who was also a deep threat and elusive burner.
