The Texan, who entered the Transfer Portal January 4th, will be about 1,800 miles closer to home.
“Realistically, at 6-4 and 320, Curne may have been better suited for a ground and pound offense,” said RealDawg.com’s Trevor Mueller. “The Huskies are moving towards pass protection type of offensive linemen.”
The 27th best offensive guard in the country by 247 Sports, from 2020-21 he made 16 consecutive starts before Kalen DeBoer’s arrival.
He changed positions in the first part of his Husky career before moving to No. 1 offensive guard.
He is listed as senior as graduated this past fall. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
