A former Washington Husky is coming home. Former All-American lineman Nick Harris is signing a contract with the Seattle Seahawks. Harris spent four seasons with the Huskies, winning a Pac-12 Championship.
As a freshman he started most of the second half of the season including the College Football Playoffs against Alabama, UW’s first playoff game.
In his time on Montalke Harris played under Scott Huff who he will be reunited with in Seattle. Harris spent his entire NFL career with the Cleveland Browns who drafted him in the fifth round in 2020.
He signed with his adopted hometown Seattle Seahawks this morning and will likely be an important piece on the Seattle offensive line next season.
Huff joined the Huskies after Harris’ freshman season, and was the offensive line coach as Harris racked up conference and national honors in the purple and gold.
Huff was hired by the Seahawks this off-season along with some other Huskies coaches. Harris will be reunited with Huff, still in Seattle.
However, this time it will be in the big leagues as Huff looks to earn his path in the NFL and Harris will be given the opportunity to battle for a starting spot.
