In perhaps the biggest move in less than a year in Seattle, Jedd Fisch has landed 5-star receiver Johntay Cook.
Originally from DeSoto, Texas, Cook picked Texas over 40 other programs he held offers from.
Listed at 6-0, and 180 pounds, the newest Husky was 247 Sports number 4 receiver in the 2023 recruiting class. However, he didn’t have the impact he was hoping for in Austin.
Along with Florida, Washington emerged as a favorite in the past week with projections of him headed to Gainesville before ultimately selecting UW.
