Washington dynamic duo of receiver Rome Odunze and quarterback Michael Penix highlight UW’s 2023 AP All-American class of 5 players.
Odunze, who caught Washington’s game winning TD against then number 7 Oregon, is a first team All-American while Penix who threw him the pass is second team.
Left guard Troy Fautanu, edge rusher Bralen Trice and linebacker Edefuan Ulofoshio were named to the third team.
Odunze, Fautanu, and Ulofoshio all hail from Las Vegas.
All but Penix were recruited and developed at UW while Husky head coach Kalen DeBoer developed Penix at Indiana and turned him into Heisman runner up at Washington.
