RealDawg.com has learned the fate of another Pac-12 school: The Stanford Cardinal.
First USC and UCLA announced that they would leave the Pac-12 after the 2023-24 season.
In that exclusive story RealDawg.com also reported that Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Arizona State would be joining the Big-12 following the 2024 season. Three months later the moves were announced.
The fate of three of the final four teams, Washington State, Oregon State, and Cal remains in question.
However, RealDawg.com has learned that, following the 2024 season, Stanford University will not be affiliated with a conference for the 2024-25 season.
”By the 2026 season both Stanford and Notre Dame will join the Big 10 Conference,” the source said.
With those two universities joining the Big 10’s expansion would likely be completed. Those moves coincided with the expiration is Notre Dame’s football-exclusive TV contract with NBC.
