As Washington and Oregon bid adieu to the Pac 12 conference, they do so in front of a national audience.  As has long been rumored, ESPN has officially announced that Gameday will be at Husky Stadium Saturday, October 14.

ESPN made the announcement exactly 700 days since Oregon last appeared in Seattle.

The number 7 Huskies host the number 8 Ducks at 12:30 pm, but the day will start much earlier for many Husky fans, as they hoist their fan-made signs and flags being held up behind the set help make up the atmosphere of GameDay

Often fans aside for the GameDay show by arriving in the wee hour of 3 am, a good 6 hours before the show begins.  In the case of a West Coast start, some fans may camp out near the location.

Either way, this is an astounding turnstile from less than two years ago when unranked Washington suspended then-head coach Jimmy Lake following a sideline incident during the Oregon game.

Both Washington and Oregon are idle this week.
