Eason says goodbye to Georgia

As several reports have come out that Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason was transferring to Washington over the last few days, Eason took to Twitter to say goodbye and thank Georgia today.

“Thank you UGA for an incredible two years,” Eason said on Twitter. “The memories and relationships I have made will truly last a lifetime. I will miss suiting up in red and black, but Athens will always be a place I can call home. -Skinnyqb”

As a freshman at Georgia, Eason passed for 2,430 yards, 16 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Eason suffered a knee injury early in the 2017 season and since then, star true freshman QB Jake Fromm has started for Georgia.

There has been no official word on Eason transferring to Washington but all signs point towards that outcome.
