Coach Petersen Monday Notes & Quotes

Chris Petersen is definitely looking forward to this bye week and what it can bring in terms of mental rest for his team.

“The grind of this season has taken its toll on a lot of these guys”, he said this morning when meeting with the media, noting that there will be less activity this week and it’s a good chance to “get out of this building” for awhile.

That seems to be a big theme, in terms of just getting a banged up team healthy and also clear their heads of some of the ups and downs of this season.

Coach said he’s felt more of a lack of execution than energy at times, “I think you can go out there and work hard and not get better…these practices are hard…there’s going to be ebbs and flows”.

On the injury front, there’s nothing new to report on — except that Trey Adams is still planning to come back but that right now it’s “very fluid”.
