Coach Mike Hopkins addressed the media Sunday evening after the Huskies defeated UC Santa Barbara in a close one by a score of 67-63.
The game was very close, and Hopkins talked about going in “spurts” and being “hot and cold”…
“We get a nine-point lead…we just can’t seem to stretch it out”, he said. Hopkins also discussed “self-inflicted wounds”.
The Huskies need to find their game fast because they face the top team in the country on Wednesday night in Spokane; the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
