Bye Week Interview with Tony Castricone
With Washington off on their bye week this week Trevor Mueller sat down with play-by-play voice of the Huskies, Tony Castricone.
The Kalen DeBoer era is off to a fast start with a 6-2 record and an explosive offense. Castricone talks about some of the exciting moments and the unbelievable plays displayed on the offensive side of the ball.
With all of the positive energy around this program clearly in a rebound year one game still sticks out. The road loss to the Arizona State Sun Devils. The Lowly Devils could not be stopped on the offensive side of the ball and took advantage of a freak pick-6 off the helmet of an O-lineman that propelled the Sun Devils to the win.
“Sometimes freak things happen in college football,” Casticone said, “And Tempe is a place that has been tough on Washington over the years. Unfortunately that night everything went the wrong way.”
Outside of the loss Castricone sees this coaching staff united in the approach to building the progam and taking it to the highest level.
