“Winners win,” says Washington’s head coach Kalen DeBoer. He continues to back up the saying with wins in the recruiting trail as the his big recruiting weekend continues to produce wins. The latest recruiting victory is four-star athlete Peyton Waters from Van Nuys, California who has chosen Washington over six other finalists: Oregon, Northwestern, Utah, Stanford, USC, and UCLA.

The 6-2, 170-pound prospect becomes the 8th commit from California and the 11th commitment overall.
As a defensive back at Birmingham High in Van Nuys last season he had 51 tackles, 4 interceptions, 4 pass breakups and 2 blocked field goals.
