BREAKING: Washington QB Commit to Visit Ohio State This Weekend

Should Washington fans be on Flip Alert?  It appears so.

Washington Husky QB commit Lincoln Kienholz will be visiting Columbus, Ohio this weekend to take in the Ohio State/Michigan game.

Kienholz hails from T.F. Riggs in Pierre, South Dakota–Washington head coach’s home state.

His season finished as a 4-time state champion, three as a starter.

Many will call Kienholz a late-riser but he not to the Huskies.  In the middle of Spring Football Husky offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb flew out to see the multi-sport athlete in person.   After a 30-minute workout he was offered on the spot.

Listed as a 4-star QB by RealDawg.com’s lead high school scout, Kienholz began hearing from the Buckeyes a month ago, through text messages.

Along the same timeframe, Kienholz said that he wasn’t in regular communication with the Huskies, receiving occasional videos from the coaches.

QB Brock Glenn has decommitted from Ohio State, leaving the Buckeyes looking for a quarterback for the 2023 recruiting class.
