In a shocking turn of events 4-star Niko Bundalo has announced his commitment to the University of Washington via ESPN.
Bundalo has been one of the nation’s most sought after big men. Standing at 6’10” the son of Serbian refugees has proved to be a great scorer of the ball in at Prolific Prep in Napa, California.
While his parents fled the war-ravaged Serbia Niko was born in the USA.
After spending much of his life in Ohio he transferred to Prolific Prep for his senior season.
There he has played his way into a top-5 ranking in the state of and his offer sheet shows just that.
His original top-8 were Connecticut, Michigan St, Kentucky, Ohio St, North Carolina, Pitt, Xavier, and Texas.
His laundry list of top college basketball teams but with a notable emission: Washington. In fact, the Huskies weren’t even in the picture when he announced his top eight heading in to August or even final for earlier this Fall.
Bukalo reopened his recruitment in and the Huskies were all in. “When Washington heard I was reopening my recruitment, they jumped right in, and they have been great,” Bundalo said.
As a member of the class of 2025, big things are expected from Bundalo next season as he’s a threat to score from anywhere on the floor.
