The Washington Huskies received some very welcome news with the commitment from big man Tufanua Ionatana Umu-Cais from Englewood, Colorado. The 6-3, 307-pound run-stuffer, who goes by TI, becomes UW’s 21st commit and fourth 4-star defender taken in the 2026 class.
He chose UW over Houston and Vanderbilt, providing Washington with a much needed recruiting win for defensive line coach Jason Kaufusi.
Additionally, he is the 6th highest-rated pledged for this cycle and the number 1 prospect from Colorado.
He will be participating in the Navy All-American Bowl January 10th, 2026.
