BREAKING: Washington Lands 3-Star ASU Edge Defender

Purple Santa has delivered again as Washington has landed ASU edge defender Joe Moore. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri the newest Husky commit had 30 stops and 3 sacks this past season for the Sun Devils.

On the day the Huskies have landed 3 players from the transfer portal including Cal Poly tight end Josh Cuevas, and Ralen Goforth a linebacker from USC. Additionally, the Huskies saw receiver Junior Alexander put his name into the Transfer Portal.

Moore will have 3 years of eligibility remaining to play two years.  It wasn’t long ago that the edge defender position could be a position of concern heading into the Winter, but in the span of 24 hours the Huskies have addressed that concern.

He joins the nation’s leading pass rusher Bralen Trice and former All-American Zion Tupuola-Fetui on the edge of Washington’s defense that led the Pac-12 Conference in sacks during the regular season.  Trice and ZTF announced yesterday that they’ll return for another season.
