BREAKING: Washington Huskies Receive Commitment from Las Vegas Speedster

BREAKING: Washington Huskies Receive Commitment from Las Vegas Speedster

The Washington Huskies have received the commitment from Andres “Dre” Pollard, a versatile defender from Faith Lutheran in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He told RealDawg last Wednesday that  “I might make my decision soon,” adding that it would likely to come down to, “UW and Stanford being my 1 & 2”.

As the Huskies had with his high school teammate, defensive back Gavin Day they moved fast— making an impactful impression, making an offer, making a visit, receiving a commitment.

Pollard’s commitment comes just over a month since he was offered by UW.

He does everything fast.

Revered and feared for his speed in the Las Vegas area, with one scout calling him “fast, fast. A threat to score wherever and whenever he touches the ball, Pollard recorded a 4.37 40-yard at the Polynesian Bowl.

He’s also a triple crown winner in track with Nevada State Championships in the 100, 200 & 400 meters.

The speedster joins two other Faith Lutheran teammates, fast rising star, offensive tackle Dominic Harris and the hard-hitting DB Gavin Day, all of whom recently committed the UW.

His prowess also shows up in the classroom posting a 4.6 GPA and an offer from Stanford.
