At Olympia High School, Grant became a McDonald’s All-American and was named the 2020-21 Gatorade Washington Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
ESPN rated him the number 42 overall prospect but 3rd in his class in the state of Washington behind Paolo Banchero who played and Duke and Kaden Perry who went to Gonzaga.
The 6-10 forward becomes the second Husky to announce his departure, joining Langston Wilson who announced two days ago that he was leaving Washington. Grant will have 2 years of eligibility remaining with 3 years to play.
