A second Washington Edge Defender has announced on social media that he plans to return to for another year. Essentially announcing together, 2nd Team Sporting News All-American Bralen Trice and Zion Tupuola-Fetui Announced that they’ll be returning for one more go-round in 2023.

Trice is one that many thought might dip his toes in the 2023 NFL draft, however, Zion Tupuola-Fetui and Trice are returning “with every intention to be the Best Pass Rush Duo in the Nation”.
In the Covid-shortened 2020 season ZTF broke onto the college football scene with a breakout season, receiving several national post-season accolades. The following season he struggled to return to form following injuries.
This past season the Huskies tied for the the Pac-12 Conference lead in sacks with 35, and in the top 20 nationally.
