Over seven years ago I started as an intern at Realdawg for Ruth Robbins. Within the first year I was hired as a full time beat reporter covering Washington football and basketball. And now I’m proud to announce that I will be co-owning Realdawg.com with Mike Martin!

Growing up a Washingtonian, my parents and grandparents instilled in me what the University of Washington team football meant. It was more than just a football team. It’s family, the experience, the highs, and the lows. It’s Lake Washington, it’s the boats lining up hours before kickoff to get a glimpse of the Greatest Setting in College Football. There’s nothing like being at Husky Stadium on a crisp fall afternoon.

Watching the Huskies my entire life I was fascinated by everything that was the purple and gold. From going to the Rose Bowl, all the way to the Big House – these memories will last a lifetime. And I always knew that one day I wanted to be more than just a fan of UW.

I couldn’t be more excited to get the chance to really make an impact for the website and provide our subscribers with the most unique content. We look forward to providing you with the most up-to-date news of all things Huskies. This includes the most in-depth coverage for the basketball and football teams. From recruiting, gameday coverage, practice reports, player interviews, podcasts and much more.

This is the start of something very special. I look forward to working alongside Mike Martin, Kaila Olin, Roman Tomashoff, Evan Feather, Trevor Mueller, Reece McCully, and the rest of the team!

It’s you the die hard fans that make the program what it is today. In fact, Realdawg.com wouldn’t exist without you. I won’t ever lose sight of that.
