The Washington Husky’s complete makeover is underway as the team unveiled its new road uniforms Sunday night on social media.  Not only will Washington have a new offense and defense but it may have a new look when they hit the road to wrap up the first month of football as they take on the UCLA Bruins in the Rose Bowl on September 30th.  Fan versions will be available soon.

The pictures showed the attention to fine details.

“Washington’s on-field ‘Husky Royalty’ kit is reserved for a 2022 road matchup. The targeted game and selection will be announced in the coming weeks. 

In addition to the on-field strategy look, adidas will offer a retail product available for purchase as fans count down to kickoff. The retail intro date and point of sale information will be made available soon.”

“A tribute to UW’s dominance at home and away, the ‘Husky Royalty’ jersey stays true to the Dawg mentality: let your game do the talking, no matter where you are.

It showcases all the classic features in gold, highlighted with touches of purple — bringing a classic design into 2022,” the release said.

The release went on to say, “Mighty are the Ones Who Wear the Purple and the Gold! Take the Dawg mentality with you everywhere in this special jersey for UW’s 2022 season — a new design taking the spotlight for one game only.
