Former Washington tight end Hunter Bryant has been waived by the Detroit Lions.
Bryant has played in just five games in the NFL after going undrafted in 2020. The 6-foot-2, 245-pound TE has battled numerous injuries from his playing days back at the University of Washington. Due to injuries, Bryant has one catch for 44 yards in his short NFL career.
At Washington, Hunter Bryant had 85 receptions, 1,394 receiving yards, and five touchdowns before declaring for the 2020 NFL Draft after three seasons at UW. Bryant was a First-Team All-Pac-12 and considered an All American by a few media outlets.
