BREAKING: Husky All-American Candidate Releases Signature “ZTF” Gear

One of the Washington Husky’s most marketable players, All-American candidate Zion Tupuola-Fetui, has released a line of signature gear on his personal website, OfficialZTF.com.  The site boasts a collection of shirts, hoodies, headwear, and lifestyle clothing items.

Now being able to profit from his name, image and likeness, Tupuola-Fetui has a logo of his initials, “ZTF” and a profile of his head and signature yellow pulled back hair on the clothing items.

What’s not on any of the gear is Washington football play-by-play announcer Tony Castricone’s signature call, “ZTF is a monster!” from two seasons ago when he burst onto the college football scene.  In his first career start, against Oregon State the Husky linebacker spent the evening in the Beavers’ backfield with two strip-sacks and a forced fumble.  A week later, the 6-4 260-pound wrecking ball did it again with two more sacks against Arizona, including another fumble.  In the third game of the pandemic-shortened season he racked up three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

The three-week sequence catapulted him to into the national spotlight, being named an All-American following the season.  In Seattle he simply became known as ZTF.

It seems as though the new NCAA rule allowing athletes to use their own name image and likeness was custom made for the Husky linebacker given his on-field exploits and off the field name and image recognition.

The products on the website range in price from $25.00 for a ZTF baseball cap to a $55.00 Zion Tupuola-Fetui “Silhouette” hoodie.  The products ship within two weeks.
