In case you went to bed early you may have missed the commitment announcement of Federal Way 5-star power-forward, Jaden McDaniels.
His announcement was anticipated, but late in the evening he simply tweeted this:

Last season averaged 23.2 points-per-game and 10.3 rebounds, with 3.2 assists and an average of 2.1 steals.
At 6-10, McDaniels could be somewhat compared to a young Kevin Durant type of player. He’s joining the Huskies on the heels of Isaiah Stewart.
Both are Top 10 recruits and both projected as NBA lottery picks for 2020.
Mike Hopkins is building one of the top programs in the Pac-12 right now, and a definite contender for another NCAA tourney berth as well as a Pac-12 championship.
The combo of Stewart and McDaniels could provide a front line comparable to Duke; then there’s RaQuan Battle, who’s a 4-star from Marysville and Marcus Tsohonis…that’s some serious talent.
