The Washington Huskies pulled a blue chip recruit from Oregon in the biggest reversal since Budda Baker. Right before the NFL draft Washington flipped offensive linemen, Kodi Greene, away from the Ducks. The composite 5-star prospect moved from the state of Washington down to Mater Dei to challenge himself in one of the best football conferences in the nation.
The 6-6 linemen is the top rated recruit in the 2026 class for the Huskies and is the #22 prospect across the nation.
Size: As a junior Greene measures at 6-6 285 pounds and has more time to grow in his final year of school. He is already ready for the rigors of the college game and will be as close to being a day-1 starter on the line as Husky fans have seen in a while.
Speed: The lateral quickness and the fluid motions that Greene make him such a highly touted prospect. He is quick in his pass protection that can stay in front of quicker edge rushers. His feet stay balanced and move at an elite level.
Strength: While his game film shows him blowing through smaller defenders, one must look at his pad level. He stays balanced and is able to get leverage especially when run-blocking. He is fundamentally sound and does not solely rely on his superior strength.
Scoutlook: There hasn’t been a polished offensive line prospect like Kodi Greene since Kaleb McGary and Trey Adams. Along with this frame he has developed his balance speed with elite footwork. That combination is rare and highly sought after by college coaches. When he walks onto campus in the fall of 2026 he will have a real shot at earning a spot on the starting line. People his size don’t move like him.
Husky Comparison: Troy Fautanu, but bigger
