The Huskies have opened as 22-point favorites against Kent State in their season-opener according to Circa Sports.
Washington is coming off a disappointing 4-8 season. The Huskies were just 3-9 vs. the spread. Kent State, finished 7-7, losing in the Mac Championship in 2021.
Former legendry coach Don James has coached at both schools. James led Kent State to a MAC Championship. James departed for Washington in 1975. At Washington, James led the Huskies to one National Championship, four Rose Bowl victories, and an Orange Bowl win.
The game takes place at Husky Stadium on September 3rd. A time has not been set for the game.
