The Washington Huskies earned a second commitment on Saturday when he was announced Vanderbilt linebacker Ethan Barr.
Barr, a four year starter and two year captain with the Commodores tallied 54 tackles (21 solo), sack, and a forced fumble.
The 6-3, 245 pound middle linebacker will bring depth to replace the graduations of Eduefuan Ulofoshio and Ralen Goforth—but he likely won’t be the last linebacker transfer signed by the Huskies
Barr will likely be paired with big-hitting Carson Bruener who twice had 14-tackles in games late in the season.
Behind them will be a pair of highly regarded walks-on, Drew Fowler and junior walk-on Austin Harneteaux.
With a bevy of youngsters waiting in the wings Deven Bryant and Jordan Whitney.
With two linebacker spots opening after this season, Barr probably won’t be the last linebacker acquired this offseason.
