The Huskies continue to see players on the 2019 roster added to national watch-lists. Today, Nick Harris and Trey Adams were added to the Outland Trophy watch-list.
The Outland Trophy is given to the nation’s top college interior lineman.
Adams, a left tackle from Wenatchee, Wash., earned first-team All-Pac-12 as a true sophomore in 2016, but missed much of the 2017 and 2018 seasons due to injury. He returned for the final four games of the 2018 season (thus preserving a redshirt), starting the Pac-12 Championship Game and the Rose Bowl.
Harris, a center from Inglewood, Calif., was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection last season, when he started 13 of 14 games for the conference champions. He is also a two-time honorable mention Academic All-Pac-12 selection and earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 in 2017. He has also been named to the watch list for the Rimington Trophy.
Today marks the seventh day of summer watch-list season as, over a two-week period, lists for 16 college postseason awards will be announced. Here’s the schedule:
