For the first time in program history the Washington Huskies are 13-0. Washington beat the #5 Ducks in a game where Washington was the clear aggressor for most of the evening. The Huskies came into the game as a two score underdog only to race to a 20-3 lead.
Oregon came back in the second half and took a 24-20 lead headed into the 4th quarter. Washington scored touchdowns on the next two possessions to go up ten at 34-24 before an explosive play brought Oregon within three. After a first down pickup by Jalen McMillan, the next drive on 3rd and nine Dillon Johnson ended the game sliding safely to the ground after a pickup of 18.
Washington is the two seed and will face off against #3 Texas in the Sugar Bowl for a chance to play for a national title.
Coach V, Kaila Olin, UW Leah, and Trevor Mueller recap the game and discuss the CFP.
