The Washington Huskies have landed in El Paso in preparation for the Sun Bowl where they will match up with the Louisville Cardinals.
Louisville finished the season at 8-4 with three of their losses coming to two playoff teams and Miami who was right on the doorstep.
The Cardinals other loss was an inexcusable loss to a down Stanford team as the Cardinal continue to be the bad team that can jump up and bite a good team that overlooks them. Just last year the Huskies had all they could handle against the team in Palo Alto.
Louisville opened as a 4.5 point favorite that have moved two points to 2.5. Of course both teams have lost players to the portal. Louisville lost their top receiver, pass rusher, and defensive lineman to go along with senior quarterback, Tyler Shough, has elected to sit out in preparation for the NFL draft. Time will tell if that choice leads to a roster spot for the former Duck.
Coach V, Jake Grant, Trevor Mueller, and UW Leah discuss the matchup and preview the second round of the college football playoff.
